Three-Ingredient Cookies
Plätzchen aus drei Zutaten

Ever tried making Christmas cookies with just three ingredients?

It’s incredibly simple, super tasty, and thanks to the calorie-free sugar alternative, you can indulge guilt-free with these cookies.

These cookies are perfect when you’re short on time—whether you haven’t baked any Christmas treats yet or have already eaten most of them right before the holidays!

Beautifully wrapped, they also make a quick and thoughtful gift. Baking has never been easier! 😉

What do you think about three-ingredient cookies?

Ingredients:

  • 240 g chopped and roasted hazelnuts

  • 80 g erythritol

  • 2 eggs

  • Optional: “powdered xylitol” (finely ground erythritol)

  • Servings: Around 24 cookies

  • Effort: Low Just whip egg whites, mix ingredients, and bake!

  • Nutritional Profile: Moderate We’re cutting back on sugar and boosting protein—this is baking for the modern day.

  • Michaela's Opinion: When you’re in a hurry, these uncomplicated cookies are a true SOS solution for the stressful holiday season.

Instructions:

1.Carefully separate the eggs and use a hand mixer to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

2. Combine the chopped, roasted hazelnuts with erythritol and gently fold the mixture into the beaten egg whites.

3.Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a tablespoon to place small, round portions of the cookie mixture onto the sheet.

4.Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F), top and bottom heat, for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Allow the cookies to cool completely, and optionally dust them with powdered xylitol before serving.

  • Michaela's Disclaimer: Artificial sweeteners should not be consumed without limits—calorie-free doesn’t necessarily mean healthier. Especially during the holiday season, it can be wise to enjoy treats in moderation.

  • Michaela's Tip: Nut allergy? If no other intolerances are present, you can substitute with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, or flaxseeds.
