Low Carb Rolls with Quark and Nuts

Mhmmm, craving a delicious roll? If you try my version with low-fat quark (aka lean curd), you’ll understand my obsession.
I’m totally hooked on these! The rolls are packed with high-quality protein, and it's no wonder I practically devour them after a workout. They help me maintain a strong and toned figure.
What do I love to eat with them?
I like to serve them with my homemade hummus or use them as tasty hamburger buns.
Ever tried low carb rolls before?
Ingredients:
3 eggs
250 g low-fat quark
50 g oats
100 g mixed nuts (flaxseeds, sesame, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds)
15 g psyllium husks
50 g chickpea flour (or almond flour as an alternative)
1 packet baking powder
Salt
Nuts for sprinkling
Servings: 6 rolls
Effort: Low The hardest part of this recipe? Probably just sourcing the superfood ingredients. ;)
Nutritional value: Strong An ideal power-packed roll that’s perfect for muscle building.
Michaela's Opinion: Bread can be made easily without yeast and, at least in my opinion, it tastes best when homemade.

Instructions:
1) Mix the eggs and low-fat quark with a hand mixer.
2) Add the dry ingredients and mix well.(Tip: You can buy the nut mix ready-made or make your own.)
3) Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.
4) Shape six evenly sized rolls from the dough and garnish with the nut mix.
5) Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (fan) for around 35 minutes.
6) Enjoy the light and fluffy protein rolls.n.
Michaela's Tip: Keep in mind, even “regular” bread made from spelt or wheat is not a sin and definitely won’t make you fat. What leads to weight gain is a long-term excess of calories, regardless of the macronutrient distribution (carbs, protein, fat).
